I am an artist, author, and illustrator.
A collector of children's picture books, I became interested in writing stories for children when a rambunctious and rowdy puppy entered my life. Katie's antics are the inspiration for the book series, Katie the Dog. These mostly true life adventures tell of her curiosity, sense of adventure, and nose for fun.
I am former high school art teacher and have devoted my time since retirement to painting. I have exhibited work throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I live with "Katie the Dog" in historic Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
